Bringing Irish Sweaters to the U.S.
During a visit to Ireland, the founder of Shepherd, first experienced the luxury of authentic Irish Aran wool sweaters and knew he wanted to bring them to the U.S. marketplace.
As a new brand introducing a lesser known product, Shepherd needed branding that was approachable and could scale. Headquartered in the Bay area, it made sense to merge the natural beauty of San Francisco with a modern Irish feel.
Every part of this brand has been carefully considered—from the name, to the target market, to color of the logo to the sweaters and accessories in the collection.
